Terms
Welcome to the Archway Cleaners terms and conditions for services (“Terms”). Archway Cleaners is a trading name of Space to Play Consulting Ltd.
These Terms apply to the provision of Services arranged by us. By requesting or accepting a Booking for Services (whether by text message including WhatsApp or SMS, email, telephone, or via any website or online platform we may operate), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not book or use our Services.

“Booking” means a booking for Services made by You with us, whether by text message (including WhatsApp or SMS), email, telephone, or via our Website.
“Services” means cleaning services or other home services.
“Cleaner” means a cleaner or other home services provider available through us.
“We/us” means Space to Play Consulting Ltd, trading as Archway Cleaners.
“Website” means any website operated by Archway Cleaners or any subsequent URL which may replace it.
“You” means a customer booking Services.2) USE OF OUR SERVICES AND COMMUNICATIONS
2.1 Access and bookings
You may request Services through us by text message (including WhatsApp or SMS), email, telephone, or via our Website. Any Booking must be made strictly in accordance with these Terms.
2.2 Accuracy of information
2.2.1 By making a Booking, you warrant that:
(a) the personal information which you provide is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects; and
(b) you will notify us immediately of any changes to this personal information by contacting us at [email protected].
2.2.2 You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use.
2.3 Our rights
We reserve the right to:
(a) modify or withdraw any part of our services or communications methods, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice; and/or
(b) change these Terms from time to time. If you do not agree to the amended Terms, you must stop using our Services. Continued use will be deemed acceptance of the amended Terms.
2.4 Lawful use
You may use our Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.3) THE ARCHWAY CLEANERS SERVICES PLATFORM
3.1 We act as a booking and introduction platform for independent, self-employed Cleaners. Cleaners are not employees, workers or agents of Archway Cleaners or Space to Play Consulting Ltd. Our contract with you is limited to arranging the Booking.
3.2 Your Cleaner is responsible for providing the Services to you and you have a direct contract between you and the Cleaner concerning the provision of Services. This contract does not include us and we do not carry out or provide the Services ourselves. You and the Cleaner are responsible for any damage arising as a result of the Services, and any such claim must be brought against the Cleaner.
3.3 We review applications, conduct interviews and undertake other checks of Cleaners, with some of this process reliant on information from or undertaken by third parties. You acknowledge that we do not and cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of such checks.
3.4 You acknowledge that you use Cleaners at your own risk. You agree to provide a safe working environment, including clear access, adequate lighting and safe physical conditions, and to take appropriate precautions to supervise Cleaners, such as securing or removing important, delicate or valuable items from areas where Services will be provided. We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to valuables or other possessions.
3.5 In the event of a dispute relating to the Services, we may agree to act as a mediator to attempt to resolve the dispute on your behalf. If you wish us to act as mediator, you must notify us in writing within 48 hours of the provision of the Services and provide all information reasonably requested. Any mediation is provided on a goodwill basis only and we make no guarantee as to outcome.
3.6 We will in no event be liable for damage, including but not limited to: damage caused due to use of corrosive cleaning products (including bleach or oven cleaner); damage caused as a result of spillages; damage to items which require specialist care; damage caused to cleaning equipment where written instructions were not provided; damage that existed prior to the clean; or damage that could not reasonably have been foreseen.4) BOOKING SERVICES
4.1 By placing a Booking, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and are at least 18 years old.
4.2 All Bookings are subject to acceptance by us. We will confirm acceptance by written confirmation, which may be provided by text message, WhatsApp, or email (“Booking Confirmation”). Contracts are formed only when we send you the Booking Confirmation.
4.3 You agree that you will not seek to book Services from any Cleaner other than through us for the duration of this agreement and for three (3) months following its termination.5) PRICE AND PAYMENT
5.1 The price of any Services will be as agreed at the time of Booking, except in cases of obvious error.
5.2 Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect Bookings already confirmed.
5.3 While reasonable care is taken, we cannot be responsible for fraudulent use of a lost or stolen payment card.
5.4 You must maintain valid payment details with us and inform us immediately if they are no longer valid.
5.5 You authorise us to seek pre-authorisation of your payment method and to charge payment on or after the day of the scheduled Booking.
5.6 If any amount due remains unpaid after the scheduled Booking, we may charge an administration fee and interest.
5.7 Any promotional offers, credits or referral schemes we may offer are subject to their own terms and conditions.6) BOOKING CANCELLATION BY US
6.1 If you violate any of these Terms, your permission to use our Services may terminate immediately.
6.2 We reserve the right to cancel any Booking without notice or cause.7) BOOKING CANCELLATION BY YOU
7.1 You may cancel or reschedule a standard Booking until 12:00 on the day before the Booking for free, unless otherwise agreed.
7.2 Certain Services (including deep cleans, end of tenancy cleans or after builder cleans) may require at least 48 hours’ notice.
7.3 Late cancellations, failed access, or inability for the Cleaner to start the job may result in the full Booking price being charged.8) INSURANCE
We recommend that you take out home or contents insurance for any Services booked through us.9) THIRD PARTY LINKS
Any links provided to third party websites are for convenience only. We do not control or endorse such websites and accept no responsibility for them.10) PRIVACY
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you consent to such processing.11) LIABILITY
11.1 Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaching these Terms is limited to the total amount paid by you for Services in the previous six months.
11.2 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter which cannot be excluded by law.
11.3 We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of income, profit, business, data or anticipated savings.
11.4 We will take reasonable care to keep Booking and payment details secure, but in the absence of negligence we are not liable for unauthorised access.
11.5 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Space to Play Consulting Ltd (trading as Archway Cleaners) against claims arising out of your use of the Services, breach of these Terms, or disputes between you and a Cleaner.
11.6 Where we agree, at our sole discretion, to provide a remedy for accidental damage, such remedy shall be limited to goodwill credit up to a maximum of £300, redeemable only against future Services.12) EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
We will not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, illness, transport disruption, war, or government action.13) GENERAL
13.1 Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights in any content we provide remain our property and may be used only for personal, non-commercial purposes.
13.2 Compliance with laws
You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using our Services.
13.3 Written communications
You agree that communications may be made electronically, including by text message, WhatsApp or email, and that such communications satisfy legal requirements for writing.
13.4 Notices Notices may be given by email or text message to the contact details you provide and will be deemed received in accordance with applicable law.
13.5 Transfer of rights and obligations
You may not transfer your rights or obligations without our written consent. We may transfer ours at any time.
13.6 Severance
If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
13.7 Entire agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
13.8 Variation
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of Booking will apply.
13.9 Third party rights
No third party has rights under these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
13.10 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
